Alaya High, aka That Girl Lay Lay, has been writing, rapping and singing since the age of five.

Aged just 11, she became the youngest female rapper to sign a record deal when she signed to Empire Records, having enjoyed viral success with her online freestyles, earning praise from the likes of Nick Cannon and Le’Veon Bell. Now aged 13, she’s released singles including Go Lay Lay Go, Mama, and Supersize XL, appeared on The Lego Movie 2 soundtrack, performed at the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, and appeared on TV shows including The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In June 2020, the Houston native signed an overall deal with Nickelodeon, to develop original multi-platform content, music initiatives, and an exclusive line of merchandise, and she also has national ad campaigns and book deals in the pipeline.
